Iranian ‘Elders’ to compete at the Turkish fest

Iranian short ‘Elders’ is to compete at the 2020 Erzincan Int’l Short Film Festival in Turkey.

Iranian short film ‘Elders’ has been selected to compete at the second edition of the Erzincan International Short Film Festival (EISFF) in Turkey.

Co-directed by Parisa Sedaee-Azar and Ramin Farzaneh, ‘Elders’ is about a 70-year-old man, named Kazem, who plans to run away from a nursing home.

The actors of the short flick are Kazem Hashemzadeh, Malakeh Fathi, and Mahsa Sedaee-Azar.

The short film has previously participated at a number of international film festivals including the 10th Baku International Short Film Festival in Azerbaijan and the 3rd edition of the International Siirt Short Film Festival in Turkey.

Launched in 2019, the EISFF hosts filmmakers around the world and holds workshops, screenings, and interviews.

The festival is scheduled for October 19-23, 2020.
